In addition to mathematics, I'm interested also in music. I play piano since I was 4 and received the solfege licence, in September 2004. Moreover, from June 2008 to June 2011 I played in a jazz group founded by Prof. Paolo Fergola and directed by Maestro Claudio Passilongo, named Laboratorio RISMA. In May 27th 2011, the group participated as playing band to the "Terzo convegno dei cori e delle orchestre universitarie italiane" organized by Musicateneo and Musicampus, in Salerno. Moreover, with some musician of Laboratorio Risma, I play occasionally in some students party.
In 2004, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 I participated as seminar student to the Jazz in Laurino Festival & Workshop and in the 2013 edition I have won the Dennis Irwin award for the piano class.

I'm also a chess player, affiliated to FIDE, with a rank of 1769 ELO (updated to November 2011). I used to play in a chess club in Naples called Scacchistica Partenopea and, during my holiday period, in some International Chess Festival in all around Italy and Europe. I participated to "Festival internazionale degli scacchi di Porto San Giorgio" in 2008 and 2009, and to "Vienna Chess Open" in 2011. In 2015, I joined the Oxford University Chess Club . We play in 1st and 2nd division of the Oxfordshire Chess League. Moreover, I was part of the team who won the First National University Chess Championship South. You can also challenge me in some chess internet server, mainly FICS and GameKnot. Look at my badge on the right column!
